PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
We process your personal data for the purpose of carrying out the official tasks of the Fund within the meaning of Article 6(1)(c) of the REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter as the General Regulation).
Our tasks include the following:
- Implementation of the provisions of the Radioactive Waste and Spent Nuclear Fuel Management Strategy, which refer to the disposal of RW and SNF from the Krško NPP.
- Efficient investment that seeks to preserve and increase the value of assets to secure sufficient funds for the decommissioning of the Krško NPP and RW and SNF disposal.
We process your personal data in compliance with our legal obligations within the meaning of Article 6(1)(c) of the General Regulation for the purpose of:
- Employment in the Fund,
- Responding to inquiries from interested parties,
- Settlement of obligations arising from a business relationship.
We process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(c) of the General Regulation for the purpose of:
- Video surveillance aiming to protect people and property.

Right to access personal data
You have the right to access the personal data we collect about you and you may request access to the personal data, as well as information about the purpose of the processing of personal data, the categories of personal data that are processed, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, and the intended period for which the personal data will be stored. Access to personal data may be restricted only in cases provided for by Union or national law or where such restriction respects the essence of the fundamental rights and freedoms of others. Right to correction of personal data
If your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct and supplement your personal data.

You have the right to request the erasure of your personal data.
Your personal data will be erased if one of the following conditions is met:
- The personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed;

- You have objected to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate reasons for the processing;
- The personal data have been unlawfully processed;
- The Personal data must be erased in order to comply with a legal obligation from the law of the Union or the law of the Member State to which the Fund is subject;
- The personal data have been collected in relation to the offer of information society services.

Right to restriction of personal data processing
You have the right to obtain restriction of the processing of your personal data if one of the following conditions is met:
- You contest the accuracy of personal data;
- The processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of your personal data;

- You have objected to the processing of your personal data.

Right to portability

RECIPIENT CATEGORIES
Recipients of personal data pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the General Regulation are institutions with which data is exchanged due to employment at the Fund.
The recipient of personal data pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the General Regulation is the lessor of the Fund.
We may forward your personal data to the providers of information and communication solutions and services who act as Data Processors of the Fund. Business cooperation agreements, as well as personal data processing agreements, have been concluded with these Data Processors, and they cannot process or forward your personal data without the Fund’s order.
PERSONAL DATA STORAGE PERIOD
Your personal data is kept for as long as necessary for the purposes for which the personal data is processed. Once the purpose for which your personal data was collected has ceased, we no longer use it, and it remains in our storage system and we keep it as long as we are required by legal regulations on the preservation of archival materials.
CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
The privacy policy will be amended when we deem it necessary. You will be informed about all policy changes in a timely manner through this website, in line with the principle of transparency.
